Helix Glow Ride

Meet at the Visitor Centre at The Helix

Light up your bike and join us at The Helix for a wee jaunt around the park. We will be starting and finishing at the Visitor Centre where you can purchase lights, glow sticks and all sorts to make your bike glow. Or why not bring your bike already decorated? 

Suitable for ages 4 years +, under 16's must be accompanied by an adult. ( under 5's on a bike seat or trailer are free)

There are 2 options; The Main Glow ride which is an approx. 3 mile route round the main Helix park starting and finishing at the visitor Centre or the Mini Ride which is approx. 1 mile round the wetlands area starting and finishing at the Visitor Centre.

On completion of your selected ride all participants will receive a voucher for a hot drink in the visitor centre as a well deserved treat!

Helmets MUST be worn during The Helix Glow Ride.

FAQs

Where do I go on the night? Please arrive at the visitor centre and register on arrival, registration opens at 4.30pm

Can I bring my baby on the back of the bike or trailer?  Yes the more the merrier!  Only those riding a bike have to pay to take part.

What if the weather is bad? On the day if the weather is really bad or very cold the event team will cancel and notify all registered participants no later than 3pm.  Please makesure when you register there is a mobile number we can contact you on.  Cancellation notification will be via text and social media pages.

What happens if I need a last minute bike repair? There will be a Dr Bike repair workshop at the registration area.  Please however only use this for any emergency last minute repairs, we recommend you have your bike checked before the event.  The repair workshop will not be able to do a full service of your bike.

Where can I park? For those travelling to the event by car there is plenty of parkin at the main kelpie car park as well as a small car park. If these are both full additional parking is available at Falkirk Stadium.
